On the other hand, a rent agreement is easier to prepare as the nature of the deal depends on the landlord and the student. Generally, a rent agreement expires after 11 months. After this period, the PG owner can increase the monthly rent.

Police conducting raids on paying guests is quite common as some owners fail to pay tax on time. As a result, they have to shut down the PG.
